Amity is a sports dietitian and marathon runner, who specializes in working with athletes to optimize nutrition for performance. She completed a master’s degree in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Columbia University, where she also completed her dietetic internship. She is passionate about helping athletes understand the essential role nutrition plays in performance, recovery, and promoting longevity using an individualized approach for each athlete. Her nutrition philosophy is to optimize nutrition so that you can continue training in a way that enables you to feel strong, supports your overall health, and fosters a healthy relationship with food and exercise. Amity practices a non-diet approach and believes that all foods can fit into a healthy diet, which includes embracing any/all cultural foods as well! She has worked with many athletes, including runners, basketball players, soccer players, dancers, gymnasts, and more!
