Leela is a native New Yorker and Nationally Certified with licenses in the states of New York and Hawaii. She graduated in 2000 from Marymount Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Then she persued a massage therapy license in Hawaii after training there, and later pursued her New York State Massage License. She has 16 years of experience working with diverse clients and patients. She has worked with athletes, dancers and professionals form the entertainment industry. She takes meticulous care from the moment they come in, to the time they leave. She is intensely interested in massage as a medical profession and has a high skill level with assessment and treatment. Leela has worked in numerous areas including doctors’ and chiropractors’ offices as well as hospitals. Her treatments incorporate a variety of modalities such as trigger point, fascia work, active release, pnf stretching and therapeutic techniques. She was working at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and Medical Center in the Cardiothoracic Department treating cardiac patients. She is also certified in CPR and First Aid.
